Well, I'm all married off now and living in a beautiful brand new home with a fabulous husband!  Finally, I have a big basement with the beginnings of an art studio and now I must get back to painting.  Hope everyone out there is keeping warm.

The Snow...

...spoiled Barb's and my event last Saturday.  Only one person showed up....my daughter, Samantha! Thank you Samantha for braving the yucky weather and coming over to see your Mum's paintings....again! 

Well, my paint and paintbrush are now officially put away in the cupboard and my dining room table is looking like a dining room table and not an art studio table!  I shall enjoy the few weeks leading up to the holidays and start painting again after the New Year! 

I hope you all enjoy the holidays and that Santa is generous to you all!!

Brand New Blog!

Well, hello to anyone who looks at this!  I am posting some of my paintings here so that you can see what I do in my spare time at home.  I am very excited that three of my paintings were chosen for the St. Charles Country Club "ARTtitude" event on Friday, October 22 and also for Art Works in Warrenville on November 7th.  My nails will never look pretty again as I always have them in oil paint, odorless thinner or acrylic paint and water!!!  Wish me luck!
